Building Above and Beyond Code
After shingles, Ice and Water Shield is perhaps the most crucial part of preventing water leaking through your roof. For every roof tear off/reinstall we complete, we install at least 2 full rows Ice and Water Shield at your eaves, and 1 row of Ice and Water Shield under any valley, step flashing, roof penetrations, skylights, chimneys, etc. This amounts to 2 – 3 times the amount of Ice and Water Shield that Wisconsin State Code requires. This over-application of Ice and Water Shield is included in every roofing proposal we write.
